Cody Blades

Cody Blades is an experienced trial lawyer, litigator, and advisor specializing in complex business and employment matters. Cody has extensive experience in Minnesota’s state and federal courts, as well as courts across the country. She has represented both businesses and individuals in wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, non-competition, and non-solicitation cases; fought on behalf of companies and minority shareholders in shareholder disputes; defended multi-national and local manufacturers against design defect, manufacturing defect, and failure to warn claims; and pursued and defended claims alleging breach of contract and construction defects, among many others.  

Cody has conducted multiple trials before juries in both state and federal courts. She has also served as in-house labor and employment counsel for a large, closely held Minnesota corporation, providing guidance on day-to-day labor and employment issues, and assisting the organization with implementing policy change to comply with newly enacted Minnesota laws.

In addition to her trial and litigation work, Cody provides fractional general counsel and other advisory services to clients.
